Kam Stoyanoff's Senior Portraits
This senior portrait session was particularly special to me as Kam was my first second cousin. He was the first baby I was every really around, first kid I babysat, and my sidekick at all the family events. So when my cousin Lindsey asked me to do his portraits I was more than happy to do so!
Kam has turned into a handsome young man. I think the photos speak for themselves when it comes to that. What I loved about this session, is where it took place. Celery Flats in portage has always held a very special place in my heart. I'm sure Kam doesn't remember but when he was a baby Grandma, my sister and myself would take him there on walks with his stroller. The park has sense grown and changed but those memories have always been so special to me.
For the last part of the session, I let Kam choose where we went. He, of course, wanted to go to the football field at Portage Northern for a few portraits in his jersey. This is exactly why I love photographing Seniors. I get to be creative and show off their personalities while doing so!
My First Post!
Hey Everyone! I want to thank you all for your continuing support when it comes to my photography! I've been wanting to start blogging my sessions for a while now and have finally worked up the time to do so. This first post is going to be a little different, as I was not the photographer in this shoot, but instead in front of the camera! My dear friend and fellow photographer Lyndi Leary (www.lyndileary.com) agreed to photograph my two dogs and myself for an updated family portrait with my newest family member Peach! Here are just a few of my favorite images from the day!
Just a few bonus images of Peaches and I. Shedaisy had a little issue with some burrs and had to go back to the car so we took advantage of the time alone with Peach!
I'm hoping that this gives you a little insight to my life and helps you become more familiar with who's the girl behind the camera! Make sure to check back for more posts on my recent sessions!
